Marrokal Design & Remodeling volunteers recently assisted a struggling mother who has two young children with Retts Syndrome, a very rare form of Autism that requires full time care. The mother, Kami Anderson, is a resident of Poway and had received some money
from the state to help her retro fit her home. She paid a handyman to complete the projects. Unfortunately, this unethical contractor took her money and left her home in an unlivable condition. In addition, her husband decided he could not take the stress of their situation and left her and the children and has not provided any financial support.
