Jonathan Saltz
Sr. Design Consultant
“It is not possible to go forward while looking back.” – Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
With over 20 years of experience in the design-build industry, Jonathan has designed a multitude of residential remodeling projects ranging from kitchens to custom homes and everything in between. He enjoys working with his clients to help them improve their quality of life through the design of their home. Instilled with strong Mid-Western values by his parents who relocated to San Diego area from Chicago in the late 1950s, he prides himself on his professionalism, attention to detail, and prompt communication. Jonathan is a team player who is more concerned about making his clients happy than he is about receiving personal recognition.
Jonathan holds a master’s degree in educational technology and worked as an instructional designer in the world of high-tech corporate training before making a career switch to construction in 2000, which he learned in the field as an apprentice carpenter. His lifelong passion for architecture made the decision to change careers an easy one.
Jonathan began working as a project manager and quickly became a design consultant. He continues to use his background in educational technology by working diligently to assess his projects thoroughly on the front end to ensure his clients experience smooth sailing throughout the entire project.
Outside work; Jonathan is interested in music, furniture making and vintage cars and motorcycles. He has volunteered on several Habitat for Humanity projects and also takes an active role in raising his two young children.
